Locum Social Worker - Transformation Team - Lambeth



Lambeth Council are looking for a Qualified Locum Social Worker to join their Transformation Team.

The Transformation Team is a team of social workers and occupational therapists, supported by health and social care commissioning and housing services.

The team's remit is to work intensively with a small number of clients to ensure that their care and support plans are personalised to their needs and favour the least restrictive, most creative and best value means possible.



You must have:



  • HCPC registration

  • Enhanced, Clear DBS

  • Minimum of 2 years post qualified experience



You need to be skilled and experienced in:



  • Working directly with adults with disabilities and their carers.

  • Handling difficult, sensitive situations where there maybe a difference of opinion between clients, carers, providers and purchasers about how best a person's needs can be met.

  • Confidently supporting clients to get the outcomes they want and challenging stakeholders to do the same.

  • Working cooperatively with colleagues, including colleagues involved in housing provision and commissioning.

  • Managing risks

  • Communicating with a wide audience

  • Working carefully and methodically under pressure
