Service Care Solutions are excited to be recruiting for an Adults Assistant Team Manager in Royal Greenwich Council.

The Assistant Manager role is full time and currently operates on a 3+ month ongoing contract with a strong possibility of extension.

The Community Mental Health Team for Adults is a multi-disciplinary service offered in partnership with Greenwich Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

The purpose of the team is to support people with complex mental health issues in the community to access appropriate services to aid recovery.

The role of the Assistant Team Manager/Assistant Community Services Manager is to assist the Community Services Manager in ensuring that appropriate arrangements are in place to enable staff in the team to fulfil their roles and responsibilities to maximum effectiveness with the allocated resources.
The hourly rate is negotiable dependant on experience, please enquire for more information.
As an Adults assistant Team manager your job purpose will be;
, Ensure that all relevant Legislative requirements, Council and Departmental policies are implemented through the work of the team.
, Ensure that arrangements for support are personalised and cost-effective before they are submitted for approval
, Participate in assessment and care co-ordination, including care planning under the Care Programme Approach for people in need of support
, Contribute to all staff support related functions including recruitment, supervision, training, appraisal and where appropriate, performance management

Essential Adults assistants Team manager Requirements for this role include:

, HCPC registration
, A degree or masters in Social Work (or any other recognized equivalent qualification)
, 4+ Years post qualified experience.
