Regional Global Mobility Director - APAC - In-house Opportunity

Reporting to the Global Head of Mobility, the successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of in-house global mobility services across the region.

The Role

As the Regional Global Mobility Director, you'll be responsible for but not limited to the following:

> Delivery of Global Mobility services across the region.

> Management of the Regional Global Mobility team.

> Management of vendors on a regional basis.

> Make or facilitate decisions regarding policy and service between Human Resources, the business and outsourced providers
> Point of escalation and resolution for assignee issues and queries.

> Trusted advisor to regional businesses, Human Resources Generalists, Human Resources Service Delivery and Human Resources Performance and Reward.

> Liaise with key stakeholders in the business and other Human Resources team to ensure Global Mobility offering is widely known and understood.

> Provide thought leadership and expertise to help deliver world class programs and processes for assignees, their families and business and Human Resources stakeholders.

> Drive continuous improvements in the delivery of Global Mobility in the region.

The Person

To be successful in the role of Regional Global Mobility Director, you'll have the following skills and experience:

> Successful and extensive track record of delivering Global Mobility.

> Experience of working within fast moving, complex and demanding corporate environments where operational international issues have to be handled on a large scale.

> Experience of working at an operational level in international environments which drive a true international perspective.

> Experience of having led teams of Human Resources professionals, raising standards within the function and improving the profile within a business.

> Experience of managing significant transformation and change programmes across dispersed entities, winning buy in at the top and driving it against resistance in a global and matrixed environment.

> Experience of diverse regulatory frameworks in large multi nationals.

> Demonstrate up to date knowledge of the external environment, the competitive landscape and broad macro-economic trends and an understanding of the use of this knowledge to create competitive advantage.

> Experience of, or exposure to, leading consultancies that set stretch benchmarks.

> Extensive experience of international expatriate personal tax and social security.

> Extensive knowledge of taxation aspects of pensions and benefits and deferred compensation.

> Experienced in managing departmental finances, major supplier negotiations and contract management.

> Experience of delivering solutions through the design and application of process and technology.

> Ability to demonstrate strong leadership, influencing, facilitation and stakeholder management skills across all levels of management.
