Surveying/Contracts Manager

An exciting new role has arisen with a recently established residential developer in Berkshire for a Surveying & Contracts Manager.

The company, established in 2013, has been going from strength to strength gaining an excellent reputation locally for developing high quality family homes.

Projects to date have ranged from 4-25 units per site, but with plentiful projects in the pipeline in Berkshire and Surrey, they are aiming to produce up to 50 units per year within the next few years.

The role, reporting directly to and working closely with the owner, will be to assist in the running of the business on a day-to-day basis, covering duties within the commercial and construction aspects of the business.

You will be responsible for the management and procurement of sub-contractors, provide active input to cost control/analysis and be the first point of contact to the established team of Site Managers for construction related issues.

The role requires a strong communicator, who is looking for a challenge as part of a small business to help the company grow.This role is ideal for someone who is mid-career and looking for a fresh challenge with more responsibility, or for someone who is perhaps working with a large company looking for more autonomy.

The working atmosphere is relaxed, and the key focus is in producing a quality product.
