Facilities Officer/Caretaker - Berkshire

My client, a Local Authority based in Berkshire, are looking to recruit a Facilities Officer to join their busy Property Services Team.
The main responsibilities of the role will be as follows:
, To be responsible to the Facilities Supervisor for the security of the Council's town centre buildings including ensuring opening and securing of the buildings at the beginning and end of each working day together with ensuring all security features are regularly tested and function correctly.

The role will also include working at the building reception, providing the first point of contact for occupants and visitors in the building.
, To undertake minor building related maintenance, cleaning, administration related to the section and to work through pre-planned schedules of such work as required.
, To assist with all aspects of Health & Safety within the buildings including regular inspections, reviews and testing.
, Must be computer literate, as will be expected to make up passes & input data on to a computer.
