Key Account Manager - Aviation Gas Turbine Engines - Up to £50K

The Role:

  • This is an exciting opportunity to work as the Key Account Manager for a leading manufacturer of Helicopter gas turbine engines.

  • As the Key account Manager you will be working for a leading manufacturer of Helicopter parts and more specifically Gas Turbine Engines for both commercial and military Helicopters.

  • You will manage a global key account but manage just the UK division.

  • You will also have 2-3 other smaller accounts.

  • The role will involve you being the key contact and dealing with Sales, Service and repairs.

  • You will need to understand and anticipate your client's needs and expectations by establishing a wide and strong networking between the company & the client.

  • You will carry out all commercial and contractual negotiations with the client.

  • You will be responsible for all bids related to the account and should look to maximise turnover from the account.

  • You will look to travel 5-10% of the time in the UK only to visit contacts in your key account.

  • The customer may call in and you will need to be available to deal with their request.

    The request could do with sales service or emergency repair.

The Ideal Person:

  • The ideal candidate for the Key Account Manager will come from an account management background.

  • It will be a strong advantage if you can hit the ground running so it is essential that you have a commercial aviation background.

  • You will be passionate about customer service and be a proactive not reactive individual.

  • If you thrive under pressure and enjoy a fast paced demanding role where no two days are the same, then this will be a rewarding role for you.

  • You will work well with both internal and external customers.

  • You should have a strong personality and be a good communicator
