Area Sales Manager - £30k-£36k

The Company:

The Role:

  • The Area Sales Manager will be selling the companies full and manufactured range of specialist and premium aluminium windows, doors and facade glazing solutions across South West London, Surrey, Hampshire, East and West Sussex, and parts of Berkshire and Kent

  • The product solutions are of a premium and high end nature, where the Area Sales Manager will have to be able to articulate how these aesthetic, yet technical, aluminium facade solutions can interface with not only the building fabric but also with the desired design expectations of the end users.

  • The Area Sales Manager will spend the majority of their time setting up, and meeting regional Housebuilders, Developers across the Region.

  • Following those specification meetings with the Design departments, the Area Sales Manager will consequently then track the projects through to the Commercial, Procurement and Project Management teams within those Housebuilders

  • The position will require the Area Sales Manager to track customers and projects professionally, follow up with clients often and have a structured sales approach at all times

  • This Area Sales Manager is expected to be able to confidently negotiate and close business commercially.

  • The Area Sales Manager will also be expected to maintain the relationships and communication throughout the process, with all relevant customers, of tender on projects and all the way to fitting stage with the Housebuilder or installer

  • Liaising with the internal team ensuring all parties are aware of what is required within the project tenders.

  • The Area Sales Manager will be offered superb career progression within company as they are looking to develop someone into the business and help them develop over a long period

The Ideal Person:

  • An excellent candidate with Area Sales Manager experience selling into the Housebuilder/Developer customer base

  • Candidates can have worked in an internal or external capacity as long as they have experience and understanding of Housebuilder/Developer sales within the Construction products industry

  • Energetic, driven and passionate personality who want to succeed in a commercial sales environment

  • Must have a full UK driving license.
