Seeking a CHANGE Agent who will work with a dynamic HR visionary to reorganize and re create a professional HR Organization in support of the long term objectives of this organization.


Responsible for assisting the Director of Human Resources in executing strategies for the delivery of exceptional human resources services to management and staff to enable CLIENT's success.

This position directs and works with human resource team to carry out the daily activities of the department, including recruitment, benefit administration, compensation, employee relations, performance management, HRIS and training and development.

Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and New York City regulations and CLIENT's policies and procedures.


Essential Functions:



  • In concert with the Director of Human Resources, plan and execute new programs that support the long-range strategic direction of the organization to include staffing, compensation, benefits, training and development, and other human resources initiatives.



  • Assist in overseeing, administering and communicating pertinent information regarding all Human Resources functions.

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Recruitment, Employee Relations and Training and Development functions.

  • Works with management to proactively identify HR issues and creative solutions to support the business needs.




  • Oversee the recruitment process to ensure the recruitment of top caliber applicants and all levels of staffing needs are met.

  • Analyze recruitment trends regarding candidate and hiring sources in order to develop recruitment strategies.

  • Oversee and evaluate / recommend and arrange for training and coaching, ensuring cost-efficiency for the organization.

  • Ensure CLIENT is EEO compliant and meet their Affirmative Action Plan goals.

  • Annually in collaboration with Director of Human Resources and Brokers evaluate and compare existing company benefits with those of other employers by analyzing other plans, surveys, and other sources of information.


  • Supervise maintenance of human resources records, i.e.

    personnel files, I-9 forms, all benefit related forms etc.


Educational Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field.

    Master's degree preferred.


Skills and/or Experience Required:



  • Minimum of ten years of HR experience, with at least 7 years supervisory experience.

  • Demonstrated Human Resources generalist knowledge required, specifically including employment law and benefits.

  • Solid understanding of federal, state and city labor laws including FLSA, FMLA, COBRA, EEO, AAP, ADA, ACA, immigration and workplace safety.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a challenging, multi-cultural work environment.

  • Fluency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); strong working knowledge of HRIS systems.
