Salary - £20,000 - £25,500

I am currently recruiting on behalf of an industry leading national care provider who are looking for a Deputy Manager to join their supported living service for adults with learning disabilities in the Chichester area.


This is a great opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager, a Service Manager looking to take a step down or an ambitious Senior Support Worker looking for a step up.

My client offers industry leading remuneration package including pensions, health care cash plan and life assurance.

There are also ample opportunities to gain further qualifications and training.


Your main responsibilities will include:



  • Supporting the Service Manager with the day to day running of the service

  • Helping the Service Manager to recruit and train new staff as well as manage and retain existing staff

  • Deliver a person centred service to all service users

  • Your time will be split between providing direct support to service users and undertaking management duties



To be considered for this role, you must have:



  • Minimum NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification)

  • Full UK driving license and access to own car

  • Experience within a supported living service for learning disabilities and some understanding of Mental Health and Acquired Brain Injury

  • Knowledge of CQC, regulations and compliance
