Sales Service Administrator

Our client is looking for an experienced Sales Order Administrator to join their busy team in Croydon until the end of November.


To efficiently process orders whilst maintaining and distributing relevant records and information as necessary as well as effectively dealing with all queries in a courteous and effective manner.



Personal Effectiveness

-Accurate receipt and processing of all orders (including EDI orders, staff purchase orders, support, promotional and display material orders) as appropriate whilst providing relevant updates and information to stakeholders as necessary

-Timely and correct processing of returned goods and credits, ensuring effective administration of all relevant paperwork and correspondence as well as prompt and accurate updating of relevant records at all times

-Efficient and timely administration and distribution of information regarding promotional activity as necessary

-Correct and timely opening and closing of accounts as well as raising and distributing the appropriate paperwork accurately and promptly, informing relevant stakeholders as necessary

-Prompt, relevant and effective assistance and support of the sales team as and when required

-Prompt and efficient maintenance of all relevant files and records as well as generating relevant paperwork and correspondence where and as appropriate



-Ensure that all incoming calls to the Sales Office are answered without delay and dealt with efficiently in the appropriate manner, offering the highest level of service and care to callers, both internal and external

-Courteous, appropriate and effective liaison at all levels including customers/stores, Consultants, Field Sales Teams and Divisional Directors as necessary i.e.

regarding product/order/account information, promotional activity etc.

-Suitable sharing of relevant information within the team as appropriate whilst remaining helpful and supportive at all times

-Continuous liaison and communication within the broader Operations Team to aid cross functionality, support and maximum productivity



-Appear professional, presentable and well groomed at all times

-Help ensure that the office environment and work areas are kept clean and tidy at all times


Although comprehensive the job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be added according to the needs of the business and as requested by the Sales Service Supervisor, the Supply & Service Manager or the Operations Director.

You will be expected to work 35 hours per week Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm however some flexibility to start earlier/later in line with the needs of the department.
