Business Development Manager

Location: Midlands

Business Development Manager - Very competitive salary depending on experience

Reporting to: Sales Director

Management and development of new and existing relationships with 3rd party introductory sources and end-user customers.

Looking for people with strong BDM/ Field Sales experience within the Asset Finance industry, with “Hard Asset” experience, so as to hit the ground running.

Key Deliverables
, Consistent performance against all company and individual targets.
, Management of existing 3rd party introductory relationships in a manner that builds customer loyalty, satisfaction and delivers a regular flow of business.
, Sourcing of and development of new 3rd party relationships in the manner above.
, Delivery of a consistent and excellent customer experience.
, Production of sales and marketing strategy to develop and maximise from specific geographical area.

Additional Duties
, Undertake all relevant compliance and training exercises.
, Regular networking to increase personal and brand awareness.
, Production of finance proposals in company standard format, for presentation to Credit.
, Accurate completion of finance documentation with deals to be packaged appropriately for processing.
, Asset inspections to be carried out as requested by Credit.
, Assisting fellow BDMs with business within your geographical area.

Working Relationships
, Liaise with other team members to ensure an integrated approach to the business is maintained.
, Understands the team business plan and personal contribution to it.
, Work from the Northern office 1 day per week on average

Qualifications /Experience & Personal Qualities
, Strong Asset Financing experience, minimum of 3 years +, within “Hard Assets”
, Excellent telephone manner, Effective communicator
, Computer Literate, Numerate with analytical ability
, Sales and target Driven
, Customer Service focused, Good with people at all levels
, Desire to be a winner, key Team Player
, Practical problem solving competence
, Ability to deliver quality outputs with agreed timescales
, Ability to work under pressures whilst maintaining a positive mental attitude.
