Package: £40-45k & Excellent Benefits

A leading provider of IT Solutions to the Public Sector requires a Business Analyst to work on a major new development project, working closely with internal and external stakeholders identifying and analysing product requirements.


Gather, analyse and document complex functional and non-functional requirements using industry recognised methods and techniques.

Interact with both internal and external stakeholders
Work closely with Product Owners to help refine user stories into an acceptable state for development
Work closely with development leads to create and refine work items into a suitable state for development to commence
Work closely with QA leads to help refine test scripts
Work with the customer to develop and refine UAT criteria
Work closely with product owners to develop and refine BAT criteria
Assist in the review of incoming enhancement requests and bug fixes, attending enhancement meetings as required
Participate in Sprint Planning and Review.

Key Skills:

3+ years commercial experience as a Business Analyst in a software development / delivery environment
Experience of managing customer requirements and expectations
Commercially astute, with good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work closely with internal and external customers
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Understanding of software testing activities and working in a Software Development Life Cycle

Preferred Skills:

Industry recognised Business Analysis qualifications (BCS/ISEB)
ISEB / ISTQB Qualified.
Knowledge of TFS/VSTS
Experience of using wireframing/prototyping tools such as Balsamic
Experience of writing user stories and acceptance criteria
Experience with requirements management/product management tools such as AHA
