Job description

To work closely with and support the Business Development Manager (BDM) by providing administrative,
Sales/marketing & secretarial support, to facilitate the best use of his / her time.
Performance Objectives
Relieve the BDM's workload by dealing with secretarial & administrative tasks in order to maximize his/her quality sales time
Work to be handled efficiently and accurately, especially in the BDM's absence, with trust, discretion & confidentiality being essential.
Goal orientated - always focus on that which will result in the greatest advancements towards the teams

Roles & Responsibilities

Deal with phone calls, enquiries, email, fax & post on behalf of the BDM and handling Daily Sales & Marketing EA
Appointment setting and diary/outlook calendar maintenance on behalf of BDM Daily
Update BDM with weekly action report weekly
Contact prospects and customers by phone/email as the need arises or as requested by the BDM
Assist BDM with key presentations, including pre meeting preparation as required
Prepare all sales reports as directed by the BDM Monthly
Assist with all sales and marketing administrative duties as directed by the BDM Daily
Manage sample requests; both from our suppliers and to our customer as required
Accurately maintain all aspects of the CRM system daily
Manage customer accounts/requests/needs daily
Prepare quotes on MIS system as required
Maintain Sales Pipeline report and Pre- Pipeline funnel weekly
Follow up of quotes, completed orders, phone calls and sales visits etc weekly
Generation and maintenance of Leads (sending gifts etc) Weekly
Basic creation of marketing PDFs & spec sheets as required
Provide monthly info to SEO consultant monthly
Phone answering (first call Rota) as required
Assist with any other task as requested as required
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Duties are performed accurately and on time
Customer touch points per week
Prospect touch points per week
Lead generation per week
