Internal Sales Coordinator

Our nationwide air conditioning and refrigeration client are looking for a Sales Order Processor to work on a day shift basis in their Trafford Park office.

Strong previous sales order processing and administration experience is required and you will need good communication and customer facing skills.

Main duties to include:



* Maintain regular Customer contact and ensure a speedy response to each and every customer enquiry; undertaking follow-up action for order confirmation


* Process relevant sales orders onto the system in a timely fashion in order to ensure deliveries to customers is met and expectations managed and ideally exceeded


* Acquire detailed product knowledge and relative market trends to effectively support customer enquiries and/or any requirements for back-up support


* Processing of Sales & Purchase orders


* Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures in all aspects of branch operation including authorised pricing and discount structures


* Efficient planning and execution of delivery schedule; minimising transport and carriage costs whilst maintaining high levels of Customer service


* Work closely with the Stock Controller to ensure that product stock remains within pre-defined minimum and maximum levels; stock wastage is kept to a minimum and that aged stock is cleared in line with company policy

We are looking for:



* Sales Order processing experience


* Someone who is customer focused


* Excellent communication skills


* Can demonstrate commitment to high standards and continuously seeking improvement


* Strong planning and organisation


* Being able to work and build relationships with people within own branch, across and outside the organisation in order to understand business requirements


* Able to communicate both verbally and in writing


* Proficient in the use of MS Office (Word and Excel)


* Familiar with ERP systems advantageous

* Hours: between 7am and 6pm (flexibility with shifts needed)
