Room Leader

A tremendous opportunity has arisen for a Room Leader to join an innovative and exciting Nursery in Putney, South West London.

As Room Leader you will be joining a Nursery that is different to any other setting, a Nursery that focuses on the individual needs, interests and talents of the children, a Nursery whose innovative and child centred approach ensure that they are the Nursery of Choice for both Families and Staff.

As Room Leader you will understand, and value the positive influence that adults have on children's learning and development, you will foster great links with parents, and strong, meaningful relationships with the children that are at the heart of this setting.

You will have experience in leading a team of Nursery Staff to ensure exceptional outcomes for children.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

, To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment
, To plan, prepare and review the curriculum with the team in your room reflective of the EYFS
, To work in partnership with parents and carers
, To follow and implement all of the policies and procedures set out by the nursery.

, To embrace the unique, innovative and child centred approach that the Nursery offers the children and their families.

, To work in partnership with Early Years, Performing Arts, Music, IT and Sport teachers to ensure each child's interests, needs and talents are encouraged, supported and recognised.

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:
, Minimum NVQ 3
, Experience in the EYFS
, A high degree of professionalism.

, A knowledge of safeguarding practices.

, A genuine passion in childcare, learning and Development.

, The ability to engage and support children's needs, interests and talents.

, Previous supervisory and room leader experience.
