Project Administrator

Project Administrator - Lytham, Lancashire - To £24,000 pa


A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a professional Project Administrator to join a well-established and yet rapidly growing Engineering company in Lancashire.


Project Administrator Essential Role requirements



  • To consolidate/ load Orders to generate a Production Schedule requirement including new projects and existing customer contracts, providing capacity capable plans

  • Operation of an ERP system to assist new product introduction including part and BOM creation.

  • To maintain tracking information associated with new product introduction liaising with other internal departments


Experience required by Project Administrator:



  • Dealing with customers and communicating effectively with both internal and external Stakeholders/ Customers

  • Experience using MRP/ ERP systems supporting operational businesses, including report generation and analysis to drive improvement in product development areas

  • Operation of an ERP system to assist new product introduction including part and BOM creation.

  • Experience in a similar support role in an Engineering environment.



Desirable role requirements



  • Experience of MRP/ ERP system

  • Experience of running MRP aspects or ERP and understanding outputs

  • Experience of dealing with both internal and external customers

  • Experience of using a range of Continuous improvement tools and techniques to improve business performance

  • Some Technical/ Engineering/ Manufacturing business knowledge and experience to support effective project planning inputs and control

  • Completion of IMDS process to support new product introduction.

  • Engineering Background

  • MS Office
