INTERVENTION PRIMARY TEACHER

A full-time KS2 (Years 3-5) Intervention Teacher is required at a faith school in Waltham Forest after the October half-term break.


THE SCHOOL:


This is a large 2-form Catholic primary school in the heart of Walthamstow.

The majority of students are from minority ethnic heritages with at least 50% of students speaking English as an additional language.

The school has been consistently rated as ‘Good' for many years with a stable leadership and teaching team in place.

Located within close proximity to both tube and rail networks, the school also offers onsite parking.


THE ROLE:


The school is looking to appoint an experienced KS2 Teacher who could take a small intervention class to boost their attainment levels in literacy and numeracy.

The successful teacher will be working with low-achieving/SEND pupils from Years 3-5 providing targeted interventions.

A proven track record of intervention attainment is essential in addition to excellent communication skills.

Applicants must hold QTS and at least several years' of UK class teaching experience.
