Cardiology Lead Nurse - RGN - Private Hospital - Manchester - Salary up to £33,000 per annum

Working hours: This is a full time position, 37.5 hours per week.

The post entails working on a rotation basis

I have an excellent opportunity for an experienced, ambitious Specialist Cardiology Nurse (RGN), to combine both hands on clinical care and leadership skills.

The successful Lead Nurse will also support the development of a new Specialist Cardiac Service with EP and Interventional Cardiology.

The post holder will be an experienced Clinical Nurse Practitioner who will help develop and lead delivery of Cardiology Services initially in the Outpatients at Spire Manchester Hospital.

As a Cardiology Lead Nurse (RGN), your responsibilities will include:

-Acting as a lead nurse for the provision of care of patients within radiology department who undergo interventional procedures
-Managing the pre-assessment admission and pre-procedure checks, and post procedure care to the point of transfer or discharge
-Liaising with Consultants and paramedical services manager to ensure all equipment, drugs and consumables are available for each procedure, assist in set up and safe running of an effective interventional service

As a Cardiology Lead Nurse (RGN), you will have:

-A Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification
-A current registration with the NMC
-The legal right to work in the UK
-Previous experience working in Cardiology
