Bookkeeper/Accounts - Part time

£7.50 to £10 per hour
This is a part time position - 15-20 hours per week
Hours: negotiable

Job Description:

An experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant is required to join a busy team based in Cheltenham.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Bookkeeper or Accounts Assistant.

The duties of this role include but are not limited to; Purchase ledger, Data inputting.

Credit Control.

Payment runs.

Payroll Experience of Sage line 50 and basic Excel skills are required.

Duties include:

Create new invoices for permanent placements
Credit Control - chasing of outstanding invoices, diarising due dates for payment and managing payment diary/cash flow forecast
VAT returns
Run weekly contractor payroll, liase with Back Office and Umbrella companies, chase contractors for outstanding timesheets.
Create new contractor paperwork (contracts for candidates, terms of engagement with clients)
Produce Monthly incoming and outgoing accounts
General administrative duties ad hoc as required by management

Skills and experience required:

Minimum 3 years book-keeping experience
Good knowledge of Sage Line 50 accounting software
Strong Microsoft office skills, particularly Excel
AAT qualified beneficial but not essential
