Job description:

Core Asset Consulting's Client, a financial services company, has an opportunity for a Client Relationship Specialist, AVP to join their Edinburgh team on a permanent basis.

You will be required to manage resourcing and workflow to ensure that costs are controlled and allocated to clients as appropriate

  • University degree in Business subject or equivalent and relevant market experience

  • Experience of working at managerial level in Fund Administration, preferably at a large financial institution

  • Ability to liaise with third parties - typically clients, auditors and trustees

  • IAQ qualified or studying professional qualification or equivalent

Core responsibilities:

  • Act as focal point for key client relationship relating to their change initiatives

  • Ensure that the KPI measure, where applicable, are achieved on a monthly basis

  • Attend client service review meetings and act off feedback to maintain client satisfaction

  • Oversee succession and development planning for direct reports

  • Provide leadership on business and technical issues for all the teams with area of responsibility

  • Set and maintain standards of personal and professional performance/behaviour, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures

  • Manage overtime to acceptable levels and reduce service delivery costs

  • Attend peer group forums providing SME input for clients

  • Support/Lead Client Change events as required

  • Provide subject matter expertise for new business on-boarding and other projects as required

  • Monitor and evaluate the continuing effectiveness of processes, system and procedures initiating remedial action as necessary

  • Ensure a good knowledge of BCP exists within the teams

  • Liaise with peers on consolidating responses to RMC, ensuring generic processes where possible

  • Actively participate in the objectives and appraisal processes by completing a self-evaluation and suggesting appropriate development to ensure own effectiveness in a changing business context

  • Liaise with relationship management on new service costings and any potential cross-selling opportunities

  • Provide daily / weekly MI to VP which clearly identifies the progress of client/internal change

  • Assist with pricing oversight process when required
