Biotechnology Project Managers
Due to a large volume of ongoing work our client is looking for two Biotechnology Project Managers to join their global accounts team across the Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical and Agricultural Biotechnology (AgBio) division.
The role will be based in the Hertfordshire area, however the successful candidate will be able to work from home on occasion.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Biotechnology Project Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
We are seeking a Project Manager to support overall planning, coordination, implementation, tracking and reporting of activities to support delivery of bespoke systems to global key accounts in the AgBio sector.
As the project Manager will work collaboratively with Sales teams, Research and Development, Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure an integrated delivery, including Systems, Hardware, Biochemistry and Software disciplines, to agreed budget and timeline targets.
Interacting with Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Agricultural Biotechnology on a global scale.
Ensuring appropriate documentation for new product development is in place.
Creating a project plan with the extended core team, whilst planning and negotiating appropriate resources.
Other duties will include executing the project plan, managing time, cost, risk and quality, reporting on the project and presenting the project at stage-gate reviews.
Performing end of project lessons learned meetings.
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Biotechnology Project Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
Relevant degree qualification in a Scientific, Engineering, or similar discipline.
A recognised project management qualification, such as PRINCE2, would also be beneficial.
Proven industry experience in global project management and demonstration of proficiency, ideally within either the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology or Agricultural Biotechnology sectors.
Product development experience and knowledge of product development frameworks and procedures, specifically, systems level experience designing and supporting multiple disciplines in a scientific field.
