Social Worker - Duty & Assessment Team - Rutland - £28 per hour

A fantastic opportunity has become available in a Duty and Assessment team in Rutland Council.

Our client require a high calibre social worker who will be able to complete work to an extremely high standard, they must have good assessment and analytical skills, and be able to recognise risk effectively.

The team deals mainly with carrying out initial and core assessments, conducting Section 47 investigations and writing detailed court reports.

The successful Social Worker will need to have experience of being able to deal effectively with children of all ages including those who are hard to reach.

Due to the nature of the role, the manager will only consider highly efficient and dedicated Social Workers with at least 5 years' experience within a similar team in order to hit the ground running.

As a Children's Duty and Assessment Social Worker you will have experience of:

- Working on a duty desk
- Conducting section 47 investigation
- Initial Assessments
- Liaising with clients and professionals
- Supervised contact
- Risk assessments

As a Children's Duty and Assessment Social Worker, you MUST:

- Be HCPC registered
- Be eligible to work in the UK
- Have a full UK license
