Nursing Home Manager - RGN or RMN - Active PIN- Southport

Nursing Home Manager required to manage a 60+ bedded nursing home based in Southport

Home Manager - RGN or RMN - with an active PIN number.
Salary: Circa £45,000 + Bonus

You will have experience of managing a nursing home as this is a 60+ bedded nursing home
You must have strong people management skills and the ability to create and maintain good rapport with external bodies, staff members and residents.

You must have a keen interest in dementia care and able to lead and motivate a team of clinical staff.

You must have excellent communication and written skills and have previous experience working within a Nursing home or elderly care setting.

Self-motivated, resilient and well-organised, you will be a team player but able to work on your own initiative.
You will be dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the residents and the Home.
You must also have you RMA or equivalent.

About The Role:
We are looking for a talented, quality driven and experienced Home Manager to manage our great home.

The home provides general nursing care to people over the age of 65 and a small number of YPD clients.
As a successful Home Manager you must be committed to achieving standards of excellence demonstrating your ability to increase standards of care and kindness, occupancy, profitability and operating efficiency.
We are seeking a natural leader who will be organised, driven and inspirational and have a passion for developing their team

Key responsibilities include:
To lead the service ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.
Demonstrate evidence of quality assurance and best practice.
Ensure compliance with Company, CQC and Local Authority policies, procedures, regulations and standards at all times.
Provide leadership and support to staff.
Maintain professional development through attending and contributing to staff training, supervisions and meetings.
Comply with Safeguarding and Adult Protection procedures at all times and promote an honest and open culture.
Ensure that resources, including staff, are effectively deployed to optimise service delivery.
Effectively manage financial performance and meeting targets for the service.
Positively promote and market the service.
