Registered Manager RGN

JOB PURPOSE OF HOME MANAGER:


To take responsibility as Registered Manager (RGN) to manage all aspects in the day-to-day running of the Care Home.

Promoting a caring environment which provides residents with a high standard of specialised personal care, meeting individual needs and ensuring everyone is treated with respect and dignity and rights to privacy, independence and choice are met.

To supervise, monitor and evaluate the care delivered to residents, checking legal requirements are met along with the high levels expected within our Clients organisation


As the Registered Manager RGN of the home:



  • you will be key in marketing the home, registration of the service with CQC recruiting a new team, who's skills match and reflect the high quality of the service, and in the longer term, of course you will ensure the home is profitable and compliant.

  • You will be responsible for ensuring the consistent delivery of quality care - this includes assessing residents' needs and developing the service to enhance their care

  • Ideally, you will have been through a similar process before, with an understanding of what it takes to manage a large home


The ideal Registered Manager RGN will:



  • Have strong business acumen have the ability to build thriving staff teams in warm and inviting atmosphere

  • Be able to multi-task, liaise and drive forward activity on site

  • Be able to act on your own initiative and have the confidence in your ability to make the correct decisions on a daily basis

  • Be a visible leader in the home, offering help and support where needed


Job Requirements Registered Manager RGN/RMN



  • Considerable Registered Manager RGN/RMN experience in an older people care environment

  • Experience of a person centred approach to deliver positive outcomes for the people we support

  • Demonstrable management experience

  • Flexible and adaptable with an ability to problem solve

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • RGN / RMN qualified with valid NMC PIN preferred but not essential
