  • The position for Inbound Customer Service Advisor is a newly created role due to pure growth, this role will include taking inbound enquiries, providing excellent customer service and maintaining brand image

The role of Sales Advisor:

  • Achieving own and team targets, whilst ensuring all calls meet Quality Assurance and Compliance requirements

  • Taking inbound customer calls, providing new customers with insurance quotations

  • Making outbound calls to offer insurance quotations to existing customers and other warm leads

  • Following up pending quotations and customer call backs

  • Identifying customer needs and using product features and benefits to sell policies

  • Ensuring that customers are provided with the information that they need to make an informed decision and purchase

  • Applying effective objection handling skills

  • Maintaining a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of all policy Terms and Conditions

  • Recording and maintaining accurate policyholder information using the in-house computer systems

  • Composing / editing relevant correspondence to ensure all documentation is professional and correct

  • Providing exemplary levels of customer service at all times

  • Maintaining good housekeeping at all times

  • Carrying out additional duties as requested by management, to meet business needs

The Ideal candidate for the Sales Advisor role:

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent

  • Strong and proven sales skills essential

  • Ability to work to agreed individual and team performance targets

  • Passionate about delivering exceptionally good customer service

  • Ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and written form

  • An effective, reliable and considerate team player

  • Fast to learn, with an ability to assimilate and retain product and regulatory knowledge

  • Self-motivated, confident, enthusiastic and flexible with a strong desire to succeed

  • Ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
