people2people are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Secretary to work in a successful, boutique law firm based in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney.

They are very accessible by train of bus and is only a short trip from the CBD.

The Role

This will start as a temporary placement but there is a permanent job available for a successful candidate.

You will need to demonstrate your ability to be offered the role.

The hourly rate and salary will reflect your experience.

Your duties will include:

  • Opening and closing files

  • Conveyancing transactions from start to finish including preparing contracts and settlement documents

  • Liaise with clients and professionals at all levels

  • Diary management and scheduling appointments

  • Being the first point of contact for new and existing clients

  • Occasional reception duties

  • Billing

  • Providing assistance to Lawyers when required

About You

To be considered for this role you must have the following attributes and experience:

  • 5 years' experience as a Conveyancing Legal Secretary or Property Law experience

  • Experience using LEAP software preferred

  • Great attention to detail

  • Ability to work autonomously

  • Fast and accurate typing speed

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
