Workshop Supervisor / Shift Foreman

My client is one of the long established and respected Commercial Fleet companies in the UK, they are an organisation that prides itself on being able to offer a truly first class outsourcing solution.

This is a role for an excellent Man Manager who is still productive as a Mechanic, ideally you will have main dealer experience as a Technician and some of this will be in a Supervisory capacity.

Your remit will be to ensure that the Workshop Team are fully productive and up to date with modern diagnostic methods, you will also be responsible for training anyone who has a shortfall in skill sets so experience of this would be useful also.

The ideal candidate will be fully qualified, have at least a Class II HGV Licence and preferably have some experience working on Hydraulics and a diverse range of Heavy Commercial Vehicles., this is important as you will be at least 60% productive (on the spanners)

HGV I Licence would be very useful for the position, the role is working on a split shift system.
