Site Manager - Residential Development

I'm currently working with a thriving privately owned residential developer based in Bedfordshire who are seeking an experienced Site Site Manager on a permanent basis.

The company are a well established builder with a raft of completed and upcoming projects in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas.

Projects will consist of up to 25 units of traditional build and/or timber frame family homes per site, working closely with the director who has over 20 years experience in the residential construction sector.

The role will ideally suit someone originally from a trade background who has a track record in the delivery of housing sites, either working for a developer or main contractor.

SMSTS, First Aid at Work and CSCS are essential.

The role also requires a strong communicator who can lead direct and sub-contracted staff, conduct tool box talks, manage site inductions and provide regular reports to the visiting Director.

You will have a reasonable build programme, ongoing support from an experienced Contracts Manager and a level of independence to run your own project without the burden of KPI's or invasive audits.

In return you can expect a salary of up to £57,500 D.O.E.

with a car allowance, 24 days holiday (with time served) and opportunities for personal progression as part of a tight knit company who genuinely care about developing their staff.

The role is permanent anyway, but the company have a very low turnover of staff and expect someone to join with their team with the long term in mind.
