Accounts Payable Assistant

I am currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant for a leading recruitment agency based in Central London.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all processing, payments and reconciliations are completed in an accurate and timely manner.

Main Responsibilities

  • Process invoices, reconciling purchase orders to invoices

  • Input and coding of supplier invoices and credit notes

  • Prepare BACS and CHAPS payments

  • Create aged-debt reports

  • Reconciliation of vendor statements and intercompany accounts

  • Review aged credit reports and provide resolutions for credit balances

  • Assisting with weekly payroll on an ad hoc basis

Key Requirements

  • Previous accounts payable experience (1-2 years)

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
