An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our HR Team.
Supported by a HR Advisor, the role supports our Blocks manufacturing business over 11 sites located across England and Wales (a company car is provided).
About the Role
Joining the team as a HR Business Partner, you will work alongside management and operational teams to support and coach across all areas of HR, but will also develop and deliver a forward-thinking people plan, with a significant emphasis on employee engagement, talent development and succession.
As a key partner to the local senior management team, you will have input into key business decisions and be given the opportunity to contribute to the strategic plans and development of the business, in line with the overall Tarmac Building Products vision.
About the Person
As an experienced HR Business Partner, having worked across a multi-site operation previously, you will be a self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and enjoy being accountable for your own results.
With excellent coaching and communication skills, you will enjoy working at all levels and be confident to take the lead in advising and supporting on employee relations, organisational development, personal development plans and training as well as recruitment and retention strategies.
HR generalist experience is essential as is current knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice.
A CIPD qualification would be an advantage as would experience of working in a similar environment, however neither are essential.
