Server Administrator - Junior Dev Ops, PHP, LAMP, MySQL 3rd Line Support

My client are now looking for a Server Administrator to maintain the infrastructure and act as a point of escalation or 3rd line of Support who will maintain PHP code in the LAMP environment but will also form part of a Junior Dev Ops function working closely with the Development Team.

You will be responsible for:

, Server maintenance
, Provide platform support on day to day queries
, System monitoring and disaster recovery
, Training
, IT Support via phone, the support ticket system and direct email to customers and to sales and marketing staff
, Raising bugs via Jira
, Maintain PHP code through the LAMP stack
, Assist with reporting
, Standards and coding practice
, Innovation, you will be expected to be aware of current and emerging tech to be deployed across the development of the product

To be successful in this role you will need to have experience in:

, Server Management on all levels
, PHP with OOP
, MySQL queries and relational databases
, HTML, CSS and Javascript and jQuery
, LAMP server environment and administration with a proactive approach to monitoring and maintenance
, Command line
, Good data management skills
, Good analytical and debugging skills
, GIT or other version control environments

Based in Malvern, commutable from Worcester, Cheltenham, Bromsgrove, Redditch, Evesham, Pershore, Birmingham, Ledbury, Hereford, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Stourport-on-Severn, Bewdley and Leominster.

Salary £20-30,000 DOE plus performance related bonuses
