Purchase Ledger

A excellent opportunity has arisen for a Purchase Ledger to join the UK Head office in Central London for a dynamic market leader in their chosen field on a initial temporary basis with the opportunity to become permanent.

This role has developed due to exponential growth and movement within the organization and will allow an opportunity for someone to build and develop upon their existing experience within an Accounts Payable department.

What will the role involve?

  • Rectifying queries from external vendors

  • Excellent numerical and analytical abilities

  • Processing expenses

  • Ensuring Invoices to all local country tax and VAT has been booked correctly

  • Matching UK PO orders

  • Assisting Payroll when needed

  • Reconciliation of ledgers

  • Supplier statement reconciliations

  • Assisting colleagues with other AP related duties

  • Resolve internal and external queries

  • Adhering to SLA procedures

What will I need?

  • Excellent communication both verbally and in writing

  • Analytically minded with a key eye for detail

  • Extremely motivated individual who can excel individually and/or within a team

  • Ability to work under pressure and accurately in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to take initiative to identify, prioritise and implement actions required to achieve functional goals

  • Strong problem solving abilities

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must possess a minimum of 12 months experience within Finance

  • Competent Excel capabilities

  • Excellent communicator, proactive and capable of handling supplier/customer issues and responding positively
