Our client, a major Commercial Vehicle Fleet Management company based just North of Leeds have notified us of their immediate requirement for a Compliance Auditor.

The role is working within the Document Administration team and the successful candidate will be responsible for auditing and processing of legal documentation to a high degree of accuracy in the effective management of the commercial vehicle fleets.

Role Overview:

To check all incoming vehicle documentation to ensure it meets compliance standards and customer requirements returning all documentation that doesn't to the Service Agent for their urgent attention and to maintain continuous contact with the agents to monitor progress.

Main Responsibilities:

The following is a non-exhaustive list of principal duties of the Compliance Auditor:

, Follow agreed internal procedures, paying close attention to detail, to audit all legal compliance documentation within agreed timescales
, Liaise with the Fleet Control team on unaddressed vehicle maintenance issues
, Return incorrect, inaccurate and incomplete paperwork to suppliers for rectification
, Downloading of documentation from online manufacturer portals
, Dealing with customer requests for documentation pertaining to their fleet
, Keeping accurate paper and electronic records in line with department protocol
, Work with the Team Leader, Account Managers and Op's Manager to improve processes
, Effective liaison with all colleagues across the company to ensure excellent communication on internal and external enquiries, reporting functions, disputes and legal protocol
, Manage customer queries and escalate to the relevant Manager/Department as appropriate

About the successful candidate:

The role will suit an individual who is hard-working, resilient, has an eye for detail and is highly organised.

Good customer service and communication skills are an important element for the position and the individual will be presentable with a professional and courteous manner.
The successful candidate will have previous experience of auditing commercial vehicle paperwork or worked as a commercial vehicle mechanic with experience of documentation required for legal compliance.

Working Hours:
40 hours/week, Monday-Friday.

The company operate a weekly rolling shift pattern with variable start times between 07:00 and 11:00 and up to six Saturday mornings per year.

Salary: £18,870.00
