The Role

You'll be writing copy for a variety of deliverables, even though this is a creative agency, you'll be working on educations pieces as well as promotional, including congress materials and detail aids.

As Copywriter you will be responsible for producing creative copy of the highest standard working on a range of accounts including ethical, over-the-counter, nutrition, dental and veterinary.

Along with copywriting you'll be referencing, editing and proof-checking jobs from concept to production, across a range of print and digital.

Some other tasks will include:

Developing creative concepts to produce compelling copy that is in line with clients' strategic aims

Understanding and simplifying complex scientific information, presenting it in a clear and interesting way

Being familiar with key clinical papers pertaining to specific brands

Proactively challenge briefs or feedback

Supporting art directors in developing advertising concepts

Presenting work internally, attending client meetings and maintaining excellent internal communication.


Experience gained as a medical copywriter within a medical communications agency

Alternatively you may have experience from a healthcare advertising agency as a medical writer or science writer, with scientific content being your focus as opposed to conceptual work

Strong scientific understand, with the ability to communicate this in an engaging way
