Operations Manager

Service Care Solutions is looking for an Operations Manager to oversee specialist nursing and support services being delivered in the North east of England and Cumbria.

The role is fixed term (12 months) covering maternity Leave, although this period may be slightly longer with an earlier start.

The role is based in Gateshead but you will be required to travel to other locations such as Carlisle.

Salary: £28K to £32K

Our client is a provider of high quality personal care and nursing support to individuals with disabilities or who live in their own homes.

The operations manager will have a team of managers responsible for the daily running of the services, including ensuring that they are compliant with all appropriate legislation and professional standards.

The main duties of the role include:
, Oversee the management, coaching and development of the specialist support services
, Work closely with the Corporate Services Manager to analyse current processes and policies.
, Complete financial analysis and provide both insight and proposals for change.
, Support service managers to make financial decisions and to ensure profitability within each service.
, Support service managers to ensure that the company remains compliant with legislation and best practice.
, Support quality assurance managers.
, Ensure an excellent flow of information on key issues to the Deputy Director as well as key company messages to the specialist services teams.
, Develop and maintain high level external relationships.
, To be a positive role model for staff, as well as being a positive decision maker and problem solver where needed; a development coach for staff.
, To actively lead on the development of the business plan and work towards the business plan each year.
