Area Sales Manager - Blinds - £35K

The Company:



  • The Company are an extremely well known family owned business with a reputation for providing a wide range of high quality Blind solutions

  • They manufacture a wide range of exciting innovative products, including Blinds, Venetians and Shutters in their Northern Ireland factory

  • Currently, they have a UK turnover of £57Million, however, they are aiming to grow that to £64Million for the end of 2017

  • Across the UK, they have nearly 3000 customers and they are very well known for always providing the highest standards of customer service

  • Due to their significant growth, there are always opportunities within the company for the right individuals to progress into a more senior role



The Role:



  • This is a home based role where you will be selling the companies wide range of Blind Solutions across the South East of England

  • As an Area Sales manager, you will be selling high quality Blinds, Venetians and Shutters amongst other products to Independent Retailers

  • The role is predominantly account management; however, you will be tasked with developing those accounts to vastly increase their spend

  • Reporting to the National Sales Manager and with the support of the internal sales team, you will be responsible for around 300 customer accounts

  • For the first 4 days of the week, you will be actively meeting customers across the patch, with the 5th and final day designated to doing admin and planning ahead for the next couple of weeks



The Ideal Person:



  • As the Company is keen to invest in someone for the long term, you must be able to demonstrate that you have been stable in previous roles

  • It is essential that you have previous experience selling to Independent Retailers and have a strong understanding of how the sales process works

  • Ideally, you will have previous experience selling Blinds, however the company is open to looking at candidates from similar backgrounds

  • You must have strong organisation skills and the ability to plan ahead to ensure that you can efficiently manage a large and active customer base

  • It is vital that you have a passion for providing the highest levels at all times and that you can communicate in a professional manor, even in stressful situations
