Production and Logistics Coordinator

An excellent opportunity has arisen with a well established storage and logistics company based in South West London.

This is a maternity cover contract initially for one year.

To provide administrative support within the Production Department on day to day tasks.

The post holder will be required to work flexibly, in a rapidly developing office environment.

  • Primary office contact for Production & Logistics.

  • Liaise both internally and externally with customers, project and sales teams etc.

    regarding deliveries and lead times.

  • Negotiate prices and co-ordinate all stock purchases and liaise with all suppliers.

  • Call off steel and co-ordinate slitting with suppliers.

  • Resolve invoice queries.

  • Issue Arrow purchase orders (PO's) and delivery dockets (DD's).

  • Ensure Works Orders (WO's) are raised as appropriate.

  • Crystal - review and take appropriate action with outstanding PO's report to assist with month end stock records.

  • Pass to Finance all invoices before month end closedown of ledgers.

  • Ensure purchase orders for invoices are coded correctly.

  • Liaise with the factory regarding changes in production schedule.

  • Ensure WO's to factory are issued correctly and timely.

  • Production Planning including factory diary.

  • Logistics planning.

  • Delivery notes administration.

  • Negotiate prices and manage claims.
