Internal Auditor - Newly/Recently Qualified - Hertfordshire

Salary: to £55000 (dependent on experience) + bonus + benefits.

Our Client is a well known International business who is seeking a strong, committed auditor for their team.

Responsibilities of the Internal Auditor will include planning and performance of risk based audit reviews of financial and operational processes.

Able to promote good practice and risk management across the business.

You will be a newly/ recently qualified accountant (or exceptional Part Qualified nearing exam completion) with an excellent academic record.

Interpersonal skills are of paramount importance as is the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.

You must have the ambition and energy to promote business process improvements.

Qualifications: Newly Qualified(exceptional late stage Part Qualified-due to qualify in 2017)

Applications are welcomed from candidates straight from Practice with Risk based experience (ideally Big 4 trained), or with Internal audit experience from Industry and Commerce.

Specific sector experience is not essential providing the candidate can display exceptional inter personal skills and an ability to influence senior stakeholders in an ever changing environment.

•    Professional Finance qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA; or equivalent e.g.

MBA) or Internal Audit Qualification 
•    External Audit/Quality report writer, Internal Audit/commercial experience in a major organisation
•    Ideally strong technical accounting skills, having received training within a Top Accountancy Practice in the UK

Desirable
•    IT Audit
•    Data Analytics
•    Big ‘4’ experience
•    Good commercial and financial acumen
•    Good communicator: verbally and in writing demonstrated across all levels but particularly at a senior level – concise and to the point
•    Flexibility – ability to flex plan and approach to the changing business needs without compromising quality or independence
•    Ability to influence/ negotiator

Effective time manager – have the ability to set priorities well and ensures actions delivered to quality and on time.
