Youth Offending Officer

The Youth Offending Service in South London are looking for a YOT Officer to join their team on a full-time basis for 3months.

In this role you will work as a Case Practitioner, delivering an effective Multi-agency response to assist in the prevention and reduction of youth crime.

In this role you will manage a mixed caseload of offenders, engaging with them and their parents/carers to deliver the full range of Youth Justice Services.

In addition to this, you will undertake assessments, make reviews and reports, act as Court Duty Officer (on a rotational basis) and prepare bail support packages for court.

You may be required to travel in this post.

To be successful in your application, you must have experience working within a Youth Justice, or Criminal Justice setting and hold an Enhanced Current DBS.

Experience using ASSET/ASSETPlus is advantageous but not essential for this role.
