Laboratory Analyst

Our client is an established European manufacturer of high-end generic drugs.

Due to their steady growth, they are now looking to employ a Laboratory Analyst to work at their manufacturing plant in Malta.

The successful candidate will directly report to the Quality Control and Research & Development Manager.

The company will also provide a full training.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out analysis of raw materials and finished products, according to approved monographs and using various techniques including HPLC and GC

Performing sample analysis according to established methods and procedures 

Status labelling of raw materials, intermediate and finished products

Assisting and supporting new and ongoing stability studies, analytical method validation studies, process validation studies and any R&D activities as required

Adhering to defined laboratory management systems such as sample registration and record of removal and/or entry of stability samples

Assisting in the day-to-day laboratory activities and operations in accordance with current Good Laboratory Practices

Requirements

Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related science subject, candidates with the BTEC National Diploma in Applied Science will also be considered 

Minimum of 2 years working experience in a pharmaceutical GMP environment

Excellent organisation and communication skills

Being able to work on own initiative, as well in a team and under pressure to meet pre-set deadlines
