2nd/3rd line support technician
We are a small IT consultancy dealing with a number of small business customers.
We provide telephone, remote and on-site support to customers running a variety of operating systems including Windows 7, 8, 10 and Mac OS.
We also provide server support, and undertake networking projects from network cabling installation to router configuration, to wireless access point installation and setup.
Aside from our hardware and software support, we also have a thriving web development and web design department.
The role is mainly site based, travelling to client sites to undertake diagnosis and repair of any technical issues.
You will spend some time in our offices completing repairs that cannot be completed on site.
If you drive, or have access to your own car this will be a major benefit.
Full expenses are paid for any travelling (Oyster or Mileage @ 45p per mile)
Lots of experience is not required, but the pay for the role will depend on any relevant experience you do have.
We pay a higher rate for members of staff with industry relevant qualifications such as CompTIA A+ or CompTIA Network+, or those who have relevant industry experience.
You will have the opportunity to study for relevant qualifications if you do not currently hold them (we will pay for the necessary examination fees).
Overtime is paid at 1.5x for evening and weekend works (regularly available) and 2x for work on Sundays or bank holidays.
There is a bonus scheme available to all members of technical staff, paying a commission on monthly earnings over a set target.

Salary GBP 8 - 12 Hourly rate
