Senior Contracts Administrator

people2people is working closely with NSW Government who are seeking an experienced Senior contract Administrator in North Sydney for a 6 months contract with possible chance of extension! This is an exciting and challenging role involved in one of NSW's major projects.



You will be required to demonstrate a strong understanding of contract terms and conditions and their operative effects as well as have experience in the commercial and legal issues impacting the delivery of major projects, particularly in the design and construction phase.

you should also show that you have developed and implemented a contracted management framework and have a working knowledge of government environment, policies and legislation within the construction industry.

Other duties include, but not limited to:



  • Manage the commercial and legal aspects of the contract including the management, negotiation and finalisation of variations, delays and other contractual claims

  • Lead the establishment and maintenance of the contract management function as a high profile function that enables cost and risk mitigation to the project/program

  • Work with the Commercial Manager and Project Director/s on contract and project risk management of the project


You will need to have a high level of communication skills with the ability to deal tactfully and effectively with stakeholders of all levels.

Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience will be required for this challenging role.
