Process Chemist (Dispersants and Blending)

We are currently looking for a Process Chemist (Dispersants and Blending) to join an innovative business based in the Oxfordshire area.

As the Process Chemist (Dispersants and Blending) you will be responsible for delivering strategic projects in supply security, component/process optimisation and cost containment.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Process Chemist (Dispersants and Blending) will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1.

Work in cross-functional teams, in lab work across both synthesis and analysis, using pervasive technologies.



2.

Writing reports to document the testing and analysis, as well as supporting plant trials.

3.

Conduct investigations to support root cause analysis for non-conformances and customer complaints.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Process Chemist (Dispersants and Blending) we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1.

Relevant degree in chemistry, or a related scientific discipline; with proven industry experience in organic synthesis and a strong background in analytical chemistry techniques would be an advantage.

2.

A working knowledge and practical experience with managing test results and technical information; in addition to interpreting data, making recommendations and maintaining laboratory records.
