Visitor experience manager
Required for the UK's leading trade childrenswear exhibition, reporting directly to the event director.

Responsibilities will include:
, Management and development of show VIP programme in-line with set budgets.

, Working with event director to develop database of key visitor targets.

, Establishing ‘personal' relationship with key target retailers and maintain year round contact via phone, email and where appropriate in person through store visits.

, Developing international visitor database by building relationships with relevant embassies and agencies.

, Building partnerships with travel and accommodation suppliers to gain preferential rates for clients and staff, and providing retailers with information, help and advice.

, Developing comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge of show content and development, as well as of industry development/trends.

, Analysis, comparison and reporting of visitor data sets.

, Using analysis of visitor/market intelligence to contribute to strategy and marketing initiatives.

Skills, experience and attributes required:
, Excellent communication and presentation skills - face-to-face, telephone and written/email communication.

, First class organisational skills and ability to multi-task under pressure.

, Excellent people skills, with ability to negotiate with key suppliers and business partners.

, Natural relationship builder, proactive, resilient, self-motivated and innovative.

, Proven budget management experience.

, Strong analytical skills.

, Familiarity with retail buying process via fashion brand/retailer liaison or sales experience desirable.
