Motor Vehicle Technician - Canterbury

My client, a well-respected automotive group, is looking for an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join their state of the art dealership.

Based in Canterbury, this is an outstanding opportunity for someone wanting to push themselves in their next career move and work for a successful brand.

Day to day you will be in charge of servicing vehicles, communicating efficiently with the service advisors on site and be able to work well in a hardworking team.

The Role

  • You will be responsible for undertaking a high level of routine services and repairs

  • Performing maintenance and repairs works (gearbox, clutch repairs and replacements)

  • Making sure that all of your work is completed to the customer satisfaction

  • Running diagnostics and ensuring all faults are detected.

  • Accurately completing all documentation such as service reports.

  • Working alongside the service advisors and keeping up to date with work coming through

  • Building knowledge and skills to diagnose faults

Who we're looking for

  • NVQ Level 3 Qualified or time served

  • The ability to work in a high-pressured environment

  • Excellent technical knowledge

  • Great team player and excellent communication skills

  • Dealership experience
