A prestigious opening has become available for a proven Business Development Manager to join a renowned, market-dominating IP Software company based in The City.

The client has experienced unprecedented growth with in the sector and now has decided to open its doors to a candidate fit to join their already successful sales force.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you will oversee new business opportunities and selling in to the immediate market of around 2000 European corporates.
Focus on generating leads with the aim of closing deals tied in to an online subscription format.
Research and prospect key buyer personas within a vast account portfolio.
Work towards a strict set of guidelines to achieve sales and revenue growth.
Nurture and close a portfolio of potential clients to ensure sales and market penetration.
Establish an understanding of the customer's business to identify, create and develop new opportunities with potential clients.
Work efficiently within a CRM format
Reporting analysis of account data and meeting involvement as and when required.

The Candidate
Successful experience selling online business information subscription based products.
Successful sales experience both over the phone and face-to-face.
Successful track record of meeting and exceeding various targets and KPI guidelines.
Experience with both new business and account management.

Strong presentation skills.
Excellent negotiation, opportunity qualification, and sound client needs analysis.
Degree education.
Previous experience selling IP software, R&D, technology, professional services, and selling into corporates ESSENTIAL.

The Package
This Business Development role offers a basic salary of £70,000 with an on-target earnings in year one of £140,000.
