About the role


So we are not your typical energy company and this is not a typical Sales Executive role.

Working within our Business Services Team in this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Business Services Team to grow and deliver sales and develop a portfolio of customers across the business.

You will be responsible for responding to incoming leads and also proactively identifying, qualifying and closing outbound sales


Key Responsibilities



  • Selling our services to customers to provide a high quality experience and help maintain very high retention rates

  • Originating new business through a combination of proactive lead generation, building broker relationships and attending industry events to raise the profile of the business.

  • Building relationships with customers to ensure we are meeting the needs of decision makers with whom we can build long-term relationships e.g.

    Energy Management and Sustainability teams

  • Completing the sales process to deliver the sales targets

  • Working alongside the Account Management team to deliver a seamless customer experience.

  • Understanding and cross-selling the corporate partnerships and/or development of generation assets

  • Effective communication with external customers and internal colleagues to expedite the sales process


About You


You'll have a previous experience of working in a dynamic business sales function and will be able to demonstrate building relationships to maximise commercial value.

Having proactively developed sales opportunities over longer periods of time, you will have a flair for building relationships whilst ensuring the timely delivery of pricing for prospective customers.


You will be a confident and engaging communicator and will have excellent negotiation and influencing skills in order to deliver commercially astute results.

You'll be confident in interpreting and manipulating data.

You don't have to have a background in renewable energy but you must be motivated by working for a purpose and values led organisation, and have the capability to learn about a complex industry, fast.
