Management Accounts Assistant

£11.00 Umbrella Pay Rate (Inside IR35)


  • To ensure that all coding of income and expenditure is correct

  • To assist in the preparation of the Trusts Annual budget and production of the base budget book

  • To analyse income and expenditure as required

  • To carry out monthly jobs relating to the various services supported by the Management Accounts team as required

  • To input budget and journal adjustments for posting to the ledger

  • To raise debtor notifications in a timely manner to ensure cash maximisation for the Trust

  • To provide cover for absences in the Management Accounts section

  • To participate in the Finance Department post rota

  • To ensure that specific daily processing tasks are undertaken in accordance with financial timetables

  • To prepare and distribute budget reports in line with prescribed deadlines

  • To carry out analysis and investigation of financial variances and data as and when required

  • To ensure that a central filing system is maintained for the Management Accounts Team

  • To assist in analysis and investigation of preparatory work for the statutory annual accounts

  • To respond to operational queries from non-financial staff as and when required

  • To prepare monthly staffing reports and distribute in line with monthly reporting timetable
