Sales Consultant - Central London - up to £25,000

Reports to: Team Leader

Contract type: Permanent


This is a consultative sales role; you will be screening and selling to the ‘right' prospects rather than selling hard to everybody.

You assess the prospects needs and promote the relevant solution that best suits them.

Our target market is IT graduates with a passion for working in IT Support or Software Development and career changers with a passion for IT.
You will have a mixture of warm and cold leads provided every day to call and your job will be to screen all of your prospects over the phone.

You will assess their suitability for our programmes and promote our service where appropriate.

You are expected to close suitable candidates to a meeting at our offices where you will then promote the courses to them in person.

The courses you sell come with a view to securing an entry level IT job for the candidate through our own Recruitment Team once trained.

Key Responsibilities & Objectives

·Achieving the budgeted sales
·Achieving the budgeted activity in calls, meetings and deals and other associated KPI.
·Holding face to face consultations and pitching the various training solutions.
·Building relationships with the suitable candidates over the phone and face to face.

·Maintaining accurately a database containing all of the sales prospects.
·Recording and reporting activity to management in a timely and professional manner
·Supporting team members if they need your help.
·Working with other people in departments outside your own to achieve company objectives
·Producing reports on your activity and identifying areas for improvement.

·Professional, with a mature personality and able to gain people's confidence and put them at ease
·Team player - willing to contribute to the business unit and not solely focused on their own personal goals
·Sales focused and target driven - this role is heavily based around new business calling and achieving sales budgets
·Excellent communicator
·Consultative approach
·Able to listen effectively and be empathetic
·Have good administrative skills, be flexible, adaptable and be able to cope under pressure
·Telephone sales experience
·Previous face to face sales experience (desirable)
