Key Account Manager

Who are we looking for?

As our ideal Key Account Manager, you will have extensive experience managing key accounts in a multimillion business.

You will ideally be degree educated and also be able to demonstrate:

* Strategic Key account management

* Extensive industry experience and competitor awareness

* Customer Relationship Management

* Stakeholder management of key decision makers both internally and externally

* Proven experience working in the builders merchant / house builder market would be ideal but not essential.

It is an ideal opportunity for a charismatic and driven individual who wants to build a long term career with a successful business.

This is a National Role and although our HQ is in Wolverhampton your base location would be flexible, however the role may involve extensive travel and time away from home.

What will I be responsible for?

As the successful Key Account Manager, you will maximise profitability and performance of national trading accounts, through effective customer relationships, detailed account planning and forecasting.

On a daily basis, this will involve:

* Leadership of the commercial strategy and management of the key accounts for our Packed Products business in the trade sector

* Leading overall client account strategy and engagement plan across all levels with senior stakeholders

* Recommending and delivering against agreed sales targets on the complex, national, key accounts

* Creating sales value propositions, customer trading presentations, pricing strategy and framework agreements for all assigned key accounts

* Leading all significant tender opportunities for all the National Merchants and for the main Buying Groups and Independents in the UK market

* Managing central procurement relationships for key accounts.
